Honoring the Extraordinary Life of Judge H. T. Wright

On the morning of April 7, Bluebonnet Trails received the sad news that our dedicated Caldwell County Board Member, Judge H. T. Wright, passed away. Only six years ago, Judge Martin McLean and Chairman Bob Heinrich were teasingly coaxing Judge Wright to serve our Center as a board member. And serve us he did! We are mightier for his presence, guidance and passion. A dearly loved Husband, Father, Friend, Veteran, County Judge, Fighting Texas Aggie and Board Member, Judge Wright will be greatly missed...and Heaven is an even more joyful place for his entrance. Listed positions are for individuals who are interested in being part of a Network of Providers for contracted services with Bluebonnet Trails Community Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center. Referrals for services are not guaranteed. All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check.

Contract Position

Respite

Description of Service

Respite – Provides planned or emergency short-term relief to the primary caregiver of consumers with developmental disabilites. Services are provided in the home of the contractor or the consumer.

Rate of Payment

$10.00/hour for up to 10 hours; $100/day for 10 hours or more.

Areas to be Served

Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Lee and Williamson Counties.

Eligibility Requirements

At least 18 years of age; high school diploma/GED. If services are provided in contractor’s home, must have homeowner’s insurance and be subject to an inspection of the home. Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilites preferred.

Contract Position

Supported Home Living/Community Supports

Description of Service

Direct personal assistance with activities of daily living for adults with developmental disabilities. Includes providing transportation and assisting with training in life skills in the consumer’s home and in the community.

Rate of Payment

$16.00/hour individual; $19.00/hr group

Areas to be Served

Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, and Lee Counties................ Williamson County on hold until further notice.

Eligibility Requirements

At least 18 years of age; high school diploma/GED; copy of DPS driving record and proof of auto liability insurance. Experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Must provide transportation for the consumer.
