Center is Awarded Federal Grant!

Bluebonnet Trails and the 155th Judicial District have been awarded the Bureau of Justice grant for development of a mental health court for Fayette County. The Center celebrates this success with Judge Dan Beck and Judge Ed Janecka--and recognizes Dr. Susan Stone for the successful application. Bluebonnet Trails thanks the Texas Commission on Offenders with Medical and Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI) for the matching funds supporting the application for the purchase of televideo equipment. <more>

Center is Awarded Contract to Serve Veterans!

Bluebonnet Trails has been awarded a contract with the Department of State Health Services to serve our veterans and their families. The award will allow the Center to initate a veteran-facilitated peer-to-peer program and expand coordination of resources related to meeting the basic needs of our veterans and their families in our communities. <more>

Center is Awarded Learning Community Grant to Develop Peer Specialist Program!

Bluebonnet Trails was awarded a grant through Via Hope to participate in the Certified Peer Specialist Learning Community Program. Certified Peer Specialists are individuals in recovery using life experiences to assist other individuals in their own recovery. This exciting step for the Center will allow for certification and development of peer leaders. <more>

Center is Awarded Hogg Foundation Grant with Tejas Healthcare!

Through a successful joint application, Bluebonnet Trails and Tejas Healthcare were awarded a Learning Community grant through the Hogg Foundation. This grant supports the commitment of both agencies to develop a system of integrated healthcare (physical and behavioral health) in Fayette County. <more>

The Mission of Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center is to ensure the provision of accessible, efficient and effective services that support the dignity and independence of those we serve. Our mission includes the provision of valued services to adults with serious mental illness; to children and adolescents with serious mental illness or emotional disorders, autism or pervasive developmental disorders; to persons with mental retardation/developmental disabilities; and to infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
